Supervised contact is a challenging, yet rewarding job, which provides an invaluable service to children and families. Our service enables the vital parent/child bond to be maintained and nurtured through often difficult and sensitive circumstances.

SSA's supervised contact service relies on the dedication and commitment of our contact workers. We are looking for flexible, reliable staff, who can relate to children and families, be firm enough to challenge inappropriate behaviour and understand the importance of working without prejudice or judgement and can be relied upon to remain child focussed at all times.

We expect you to have experience of working with children and have excellent people and communication skills, a willingness to learn and a commitment to providing the best possible service to the children in our care.

You will be given full training and ongoing support and supervision while you are working for SSA and we will aim to develop your skills and experience to work in related areas of social care.
